Description

THE BOMB IS TICKING
OFFICIAL UK LAUNCH PARTIES

The mountains are rumbling and the chalets are shaking for Snowbombing’s UK warm up parties. Launching at it’s conceptual home, Manchester, Snowbombing will be teaming up with the boisterous Bugged Out team for a snowball packed throw down. The notorious and infamous Filthy Dukes, Riotous Rockers and Naïve Melody will be throwing down a rare clash and crank of their raucous parties to battle it out for the covetable prize of ‘Best Duo of the Night’. If your ear holes have melted at the prospect of dirty doubles then grab a Carrot and some black stones as Boys Noize and local lads, Shadow Dancers, celebrate the launch of ‘Suck My Deck’ with all night dirt driven electro live sets – all in the spirit of the Snowboming adventure.

Jumping on the Snowmobile to London, Snowbombing will be setting up with the Spandex and nostalgia of the grandiose Tape The Top 40 for a countdown of records and fashion faux pas from yesteryear’s chart toppers. Compered by the audacious and Northern scally Barry Peters and accompanied by his delectable DJ sidekick Dave the Orderly there will be prizes, off beat performances and more randomness than a parade of hot yellow snowballs dancing to “Some like it Hot!” A perfect platform for one of the most eclectic, diverse and colourful festivals on the planet…

Portsmouth is the next port of call for on the good ship Snowbombing. All aboard for Sumo’s scale tipping free party, bringing together the decadence of what house has to offer mixed with the dirtiest of what rock has covered our shoes and souls in. It’s then north on the compass back to London where the travelling snow troopers will finally burns their socks off, at ‘Together’ for a show stopping night of the finest DJ’s, performers and bands to put the whites in your eyes and the bomb into Snowbombing.

It’s time to shake off those January blues and head into February celebrating the imminent arrival of the main event… Snowbombing 2008. These parties are just a taster of the inimitable mountain-top experience that awaits thousands of UK revellers.
