Slinky sign new album deal in advance of Paul Van Dyk at the Opera House on the 6th of June
New State Entertainment and Slinky have teamed up to release a series of pioneering digital download compilations exclusively through itunes, that chronicles the brands return and indeed it's extensive world tour.
Slinky have found the perfect partner in New State who look after an armoury of talent including Tiesto & Sander Van Doorn which puts Slinky firmly back at the top of the clubland hierarchy as the brand continues its return to glory.
This debut album is scheduled for release in July and is titled "Slinky Presents Global Trance". It will be kicked off with an album recorded and produced on tour in New Zealand with our Head Of Events and Resident Lee Haslam. Each album will cover a different destination of the tour and will come with a free "Slinky Guide" to that destination which will include documentary footage of the whole tour and events within it.

Yakuji Love is the new backroom sound for Slinky, where we take established international names and mix them with the very best in home grown talent. When Paul Van Dyk makes his long-awaited return to Slinky on June the 6th at the Opera House we will have three very special acts in the backroom. Here's an introduction to them all:
Anthony M
Anthony M is probably one of the fastest up and coming young DJ talents in the UK today having already shared the stage with highly prolific DJs such as Pete Tong and Judge Jules as well the most in demand underground DJs.
Behind the decks he plays a blend of anything from rich house, dirty electro beats, twisted deep tech, indie-electro or melodic techno and uses DJ tools and accapellas to get his crowds climbing up the walls. He is the new breed of young ambitious DJ, continuing to push boundaries and embracing technology, with so much energy behind the decks is easy to see why so many people feed from his gigs.
Dirty Inc
These two boys are the original Yakuji Love residents and are currently making waves on the UK electro scene, a fact that was recently confirmed with their rise to Number 1 in the download charts on DJDownload.com. You can check out their remix of Jacksaw's New Jack Heights that made number one, and give you a taster of Yakuji Love!
Daina aka Jon Merritt and Jason Hales have received acclaim from the one and only Judge Jules and have also had releases on labels such as Liberty City, Pioneer Records, and Freedom Recordings... For the hard house fans amongst you a little known fact. Jon used to release records on the old bounce label Shock Records. It's fair to say these guys are making the Slinky crowd bounce, but nowadays to an electro vibe!
Luke Dubyah
June the 6th will be Luke's debut for Yakuji Love having recently won the Slinky DJ competition. This will be his first gig of three in 2008 and we're very pleased to have him on board. Dubyah has recently been quoted as saying "It's all about the tunes, no-one should know or predict what's coming next… take them all over the place… stuff all the genres and the anoraks… just play and have a good time… its not an exam!"
You can catch him on FIRE 107.6FM every Thursday night from 8pm until 10pm if you're in the Bournemouth area. Luke is definitely one to watch, and if you like your scratching keep a close eye!
